When you request an analysis, you submit text such as a public account handle, profile link, store name, or other identifier. This information is used to process your request and generate an analysis.

Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, private messages, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information.

2. How AI Analysis Works

When you submit a target for analysis, ShieldCheck sends the submitted text and instructions needed to generate the response to the Google Gemini API. Google processes these requests under the terms and policies applicable to that service.

AI-generated results may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. The service does not independently verify every statement in a generated response.

3. Storage of Analysis Records

ShieldCheck's current application code sends analysis records to a Supabase database. The submitted target, generated analysis, a status value, and a risk-score label may be included in those records.

Database access, security settings, and retention periods depend on the service configuration. The service operator should review these settings and establish an appropriate retention period. Do not submit confidential information through the analysis tool.

4. Hosting and Technical Information

ShieldCheck is hosted using Cloudflare Pages and Pages Functions. Cloudflare may process technical request information to provide, secure, and operate its services. The exact logs and retention periods depend on the applicable service settings and policies.

5. Purposes of Processing

Information submitted through ShieldCheck is processed to provide the requested analysis. Technical and service records may also be processed to maintain service operation, diagnose errors, and protect the service, subject to the actual configuration and applicable policies.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

ShieldCheck's use of cookies, analytics tools, and advertising technologies may change as the website develops. If analytics or advertising services are enabled, those services may process technical information or use cookies and similar technologies according to their applicable policies.

7. Data Retention and Security

Information may remain in service records for the period necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, subject to the actual retention settings, applicable provider policies, and legal requirements.
